A Friend of 25+ Years, Engaged!

Some photo sessions mean a little more when you know the story behind the people in front of the camera.

My friend Tania and I have known each other since high school—we both graduated in 2001—and I’m really glad that after all these years, we’ve stayed in touch. So when she recently got engaged to Kero and asked me to take their engagement photos, I was more than happy to help.

It was great spending time with Tania and Kero and capturing this exciting part of their story. They’re a beautiful couple, but even more than that, you can see how happy they are together and how naturally they connect.

And this won’t be the last time they’re in front of my camera. I’ll also have the privilege of photographing their wedding, which makes getting to capture these engagement photos even more special.

One of my favorite things about photography is documenting important moments in people’s lives. When it’s someone you’ve known for more than 25 years, that opportunity means even more.

I’m incredibly happy for Tania and Kero and excited for everything ahead for them. I’m also grateful that after all these years, I get to play a small part in capturing this next chapter of their story.

Congratulations, Tania and Kero! I can’t wait for the wedding!
