We went bold this year. Pink here, pink there, pink everywhere! From the logo to the shirts to the stage colors used.

We held our 2nd year of “Emo Night”, or “Station Night”, where the students enter a gym and encounter various stations they can interact with. This year with the theme of REACH, I came across this idea to do a tree in the middle of the room. I try to put a focal point in the middle of the room each year, something with light and height.

For videos I went with some little flash elements over the clips, to enhance them, give them life and to make the videos stand out from other years.

The rules video this year was a compilation of previous years. This not only saved some time on me, but gave us a break from the usual formula of creating some special video.

Overall my favorite part of Ignite 2019 was the use of pink, a bold choice, setting the year a part from the rest!
