Hickory Hustle 2017
I recently had another opportunity to help a friend of mine from church with a logo design for the Hickory Hustle 5K Run & Walk. The first opportunity was back in 2016.
This is an annual fundraising race held during the ‘Ole Hickory Days Festival in Colfax, IN and hosted by Colfax Christian Church.
I mocked up a few designs and my friend and I went back and forth until a logo was produced that accurately represented the event.
Their theme typically includes a rocking chair each year, this year they went with a tractor. So I incorporated that into the logo. I found a tractor element we liked and I then recreated it for this logo, with my own spin on it.
This was a fun little project I was glad to help on.
